PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan and Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak on Tuesday called on newly appointed Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Iqbal Zafar Jhagra here at Governor House.
They felicitated the Governor on his appointment and assured him support for stability, peace, development and prosperity in FATA and KP.
Imran appreciated the political services of Iqbal Zafar Jhagra for strengthening of democracy in the country and hoped that he would make efforts to bring the federation and the province closer to work for prosperity of the masses.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor also hailed political struggle of PTI chief and initiative of KP government in the province.
He also agreed closer ties between the federation and the province in vital national interest and said he would take all the stakeholders on board for peace, stability and development in FATA as well as KP. –APP
