LAHORE: Pakistan Test captain Misbah ul Haq has stated that Pakistan batsmen were not effective enough in the first edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL).
PSL winning skipper confessed that Pakistan batsmen, when compared to foreign batsmen who landed in and adjusted themselves of the condition our players are already well-aware, performed better, but there was not much difference.
“Yes, I am concerned about the fact that our batsmen in PSL were not as effective as they should have been,” Misbah said while talking toPakPassion.net.
“When you compare the performance of the local players to the performance of the foreign players who also took part in the tournament, there is an obvious difference,” he added.
Misbah urged franchise owners and PSL coaches to focus on this factor in next edition of the league.
