LAHORE: The news that tainted left arm batsman Salman Butt is likely to be included in Pakistan World Twenty20 squad, has been circulating in media but no confirmation from PCB management has been made yet.
Only change in WT20 squad, confirmed by chief selector Haroon Rasheed so far, is Ahmed Shehzad in for Khurram Manzoor.
Moreover, there is no enough time for PCB management to include Salman Butt, and complete required visa process as last date for any possible changes in WT20 squad is 8th March from ICC.
Sources have also suggested that Salman Vutt has not been contacted from any PCB official, nor his passport is taken yet.
If Salman Butt is selection committee’s choice, they might have only tomorrow to make this decision.
