SHARJAH: Shahid Afridi, Captain of Pakistan T20 team, took five wickets for just 7 runs and destroyed batting line of Quetta Gladiators in 17th match of Pakistan Super League PSL at Sharjah Cricket Ground, Sharjah.
Shahid Afridi’s superb haul of five wickets for just seven runs helped Peshawar Zalmi trounce highflying Quetta Gladiators by eight wickets and move to the top of the table in the Pakistan Super League.
For Quetta, Kiwi all-rounder Grant Elliot was the top scorer with 40 as only four other batsmen managed to reach double figures.
Peshawar overhauled the victory target with eight balls to spare. Afridi, who was declared the man of the match, was pleased with his performance.
