SHARJAH: Out of form Lahore Qalandars have stolen a victory from Peshawar Zalmi after a nail biting contest in 15th encounter of Pakistan Super League at Sharjah.
Courtesy to Delport’s 78 and Umar Akmal’s blisterring 52 runs Qalandars made 164, Chris gayle again got a golden duck.
Zalmi in reply were very strong, but losing Hafeez in 5th over and then Tamim in 7th, it was a wake up call for Zalmi.
They kept losing wickets at regular interval. David Malan was the only man shining from Zalmi who made 42 of 35 balls before he was run out in second last over.
Lahore Qalandars won in the end by just 4 runs.
