Peshawar Zalmi set 146-run target for Islamabad United

DUBAI: Peshawar Zalmi set 146-run target for Islamabad United in the third game of Pakistan Super League (PSL) at Dubai International Stadium, UAE.

After winning the toss, Zalmi skipper, Shahid Afridi chose to bats first but Islamabad Uniteds spiners, specially Saeed Ajmal who was drafted in the squad today, was outstanding with the ball.

He kept things for Zalmi batsman and bowled a superb spell of 19-1.

Tamim who played a little slow-paced innings, so unusual of him played till the end and scored 51 of 52 balls, along with Afridi ( 16) to tak the score to 125/4 in 18 overs before Afridi top-edged one from Russel.

Russel removed both set batsman on back to back balls of his last over.

Roman Raees was quite impressive today, he bowled his spell of 14-1 to keep brakes on Afridi and Tameem.
