U19 WC: Pakistan beat Sri Lanka to enter QFs in style

DHAKA: Pakistan Under 19 Cricket beat Sri Lanka in a nail biting thriller by 23 runs to qualify for the Quarter Finals.

Sri Lanka in reply were well on target but Pakistan spinners turned the table on by sending back well-set Sri Lankan batsman Kamindu Mendis and Wanidu Hasaranga to pavilion and the fast bnowlers kept it nice and tight to maintain the pressure on oppoosite side.

Pakistan won the match by 23 runs.
