ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif along with high level delegation on Tuesday will leave for the visit to Islamic Republic of Iran after spending busy day yesterday, to exchange views on regional and international issues.
According to details from sources, PM and COAS will meet Iranian President Hassan Rauhani, Purpose of the visits is to resolve the tensions between Saudi Arabia and Iran which has been erupted after the execution of Saudi scholar Nimr.
After the meetings with both leaders PM Nawaz will take all the Muslim countries into confidence.
Earlier yesterday, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Saudi King Salman have stressed the need for more strengthening bilateral ties.
This was stated in a joint declaration after a meeting between both leaders on Monday.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif expressed his concern over Saudi-Iran tension.
The prime minister said that both countries should resolve their differences in a peaceful way and in interest of the Muslim Ummah.
