PESHAWAR: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) inaugurated the Bab-e-Peshawar flyover in Peshawar but he stressed that nations progress when their governments spend more on the human development instead of just building roads and bridges, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
“I congratulate K-P CM Pervez Khattak, the National Logistics Cell (NLC) and DG Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) Hasan Saleem Wattoo for the construction of this mega bridge in a record time of six months,” Imran said while addressing the ceremony in Peshawar.
According to details, the flyover is constructed on Hayatabad-Jamrud Road with an estimated cost of Rs1.77 billion and the contract was awarded to NLC.
“We are investing most of our funds in the education and health sectors in K-P,” he said. “Because providing best education and health facilities to the people of the province is our topmost priority.”
