HAMILTON: Pakistan will take on New Zealand in 2nd of three-match T20 series on January 17 at Seddon Park, Hamilton.
Green shirts will step into the field with a sky-high confidence as they beat the unstoppable Kiwis in their home ground by 16 runs in first T20 match on Friday.
Shahid Afridi will lead green shirts while Kane Williamson will be leading high flying Kiwis in the absence of regular captain Brendon McCullum.
This was a common phenomenon that New Zealand would have the upper hand in the series as they were entering into it after promising performance against Lankan tigers in all formats of the game, especially Kiwis outplayed Sri Lanka in both T20s recently.
But, Pakistan bowling line-up, well-led by skipper Afridi did the trick and in the end snatched the match
Pakistani skipper has already hinted during the post match ceremony that he will enter with the same squad in second match.
The second match will be crucial for both sides as Pakistan will be looking to grab another victory and take the series, while Black Caps will be looking for a win to level the series.
