BRISBANE: The second One Day International (ODI) of the five-match series between Australia and India will be played at Brisbane Cricket Ground, Brisbane, Australia on January 15.
Hosts are leading the leading as Australia registered a comfortable five-wicket victory in the opening ODI played at Western Australia Cricket Association (WACA) Ground in Perth on Tuesday.
India after winning the toss on good looking track chose to bat first and put up a huge total of 309 on board courtesy to Rohit Sharma’s brilliant unbeaten 171 runs and Virat Kohli’s 91 runs.
While chasing the monstrous target Aussie batting made it very simple and chased down the target 4 balls before the 50 overs with 5 wickets in hands, Steve Smith and George Bailey scored 149 and 112 runs respectively.
Australia will be looking to enhance their lead by winning the 2nd encounter but Indian batting lineup has showed that they can make a comeback in the series in 2nd ODI.
