PERTH: Rohit Sharma showed his skills again as he put Australian team on back foot with classical inning in the opening match of One Day International series at Played at Western Australia Cricket Association Ground, Perth, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
Rohit Sharman played inning of 170 runs and remain unbeaten while Virat Kohli lost his wicket after scoring 91 runs. Indian team put 309 runs on score board in the limited 50-over game.
Hazlewood manage to gave early break through to his team as he took the wicket of left-handed Indian batsman Dhawan.
He scored only 9 runs and left the crease when Virat and Sharma rescued the team and put 201 runs on board together.
Faulkner took two wickets for his side. MS Dhoni was the man who won the toss and elected to bat first against the host team.
