Mahmood Khan Achakzai stands for rights of Balochistan

ISLAMABAD: Member National Assembly and leader Pakhtunkhawa Milli Awami Party Mahmood Khan Achakzai stressed that completion Pak-China economic corridor will not be possible without bringing peace in country, TheNewsTribe.com reported. 

“Country will not come on road success without  justice,” he said while addressing All Parties Conference (APC) organized by Balochistan National Party – Mengal Group (BNP-M) to address the concerns of several political parties and leaders over China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was held in Islamabad.

“Government should resolve the problems of Balochistan through dialogues,” he demanded. He said that people of Balochistan not want use bullets to get their rights.

The meeting headed by leader of BMP-M Sardar Akhtar Mengal was attended by Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Pakhtunkhawa Milli Awami Party (PK-MAP) leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, Awami National Party’s (ANP) Mian Iftikhar Hussain, Minister for Railway Saad Rafique, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Raja Zafar-ul-Haq, Qaumi Watan Party Chairperson Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao, ANP leader Afrasiab Khattak, former Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry, Former Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Malik Baloch, Jamaat-e-Islami delegation (JI) Secretary General Liaqat Baloch, Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) Farhatullah Babar, Chief Minister (CM) Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KP) Pervez Khattak and other prominent leaders.

While addressing the conference, Ahsan Iqbal said that Rs7.1 billion dollars are being invested in Balochistan under the CPEC project which makes upto 21 pecent of the total investment.
