LAHORE: Senior leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) stopped Geo News network to broadcast famous TV show Khabarnaak featuring Reham Khan and dummy of Imran Khan.
Fresh episode of Khabarnaak was supposed to be aired on Thursday night, TheNewsTribe.com learnt from DailyPakistan.
“We are cancelling the show amid huge pressure from the PTI,” said the sources, adding that the TV channel will have to bear losses. There was no comment from PTI spokesperson when asked about the issue.
Khabarnaak is an Urdu and Punjabi comedy television show hosted by Naeem Bukhari that airs at 11:05pm on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays on Geo News.
This week, a promo of the show was released showing Reham Khan sitting beside Mir Mohammad Ali mimicking Imran Khan.
