LAHORE: Director Game Development Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Intikhab Alam on Wednesday tried to save Shahid Afridi from current worst situation created after his bitter answer to TV reporter, TheNewsTribe.com reported. 

Reporters recorded protest out side the National Cricket Academy against the behavior of Lala with reporters. Jounalists across the  country have condemned the way Afridi responded to a question about his performance as a skipper and they demanded an apology from Afridi.

Intikhab Alam came out side and tried to control the situation but still want apology from captain of t20 team Shahid Afridi.

Earlier, captain of Pakistan T20 team Shahid Afridi slammed reporter over ‘cheap’ question during press conference at NCA.

Shahid Afridi arrived at NCA Lahore to meet chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shahryar Khan. Skipper said that selection committee selected best players for New Zealand tour.

While answering a question, Lala replied that ” I was expecting cheap question from you.”

Question was regarding Afridi’s performance as a Pakistan T20 captain as he has very quite low winning percentage as a skipper.

“I am hopeful that Pakistan team will play the final of International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 Cricket World Cup,” he claimed.

To a question regarding Mohammad Amir’s visa, Boom Boom replied that they are pretty hopeful that he will get Visa but if it did not happened, Pakistan side is very balanced and capable of performing well.
