ISLAMABAD: Saleem Malik who was once considered as most stylish player in world cricket, appealed Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to him another chance too as they allow tainted Mohammad Amir to represent national team in cricket arena.

Malik brutally attacked the spinners of all teams but Justice Malik Qayyum’s recommendation on match-fixing, imposed life time ban on Saleem Malik back in 2000 by PCB.

Malik has once again appealed to the PCB to give him another chance as they allow Mohammad Amir to make comeback.

“I’m not angry or bitter. It just hurts. I played so many matches for Pakistan, I took part in so many great wins and even single-handedly won and saved matches for my country so why can’t I be given a second chance as others have been?” said Malik.

“I was nearing my international career’s end, so, I was made the scapegoat. They had to find one or two scapegoats,” Malik said.

Saleem Malik will not hold any office or involvement with in any cricket-playing activity as per board orders. He also revealed that “I wanted to make a cricket academy; they wouldn’t even let me do that.”
