ISLAMABAD: Creator of reverse swing, Sarfraz Nawaz imposed serious allegations on bowling coach Mustaq Ahmed over Yasir Shah’s issue.
While giving an interview to private TV channel, Sarfraz Nawaz hinted that Yasir Shah used the medicine on the recommendation of Mushtaq Ahmed.
He also claimed that Mustaq Ahmed ruled out Yasir Shah from One Day International (ODI) team of Pakistan. “Mustaq Ahmed also dropped Yasir Shah from Test team,” he said.
Earlier, Pakistan’s star leg-spinner Yasir Shah decided to legally challenge the ban imposed by ICC.
According to sources, Yasir Shah will challenge the ban imposed by ICC and Yasir Shah said that he will clarify that he did not used any prohibited substance.
Yasir Shah charged with an anti-doping rule violation under the ICC Anti-Doping Code.
The sample Yasir provided in an in-competition test, which was conducted on 13 November 2015, was found to contain the presence of chlortalidone, a Prohibited Substance which appears in Section 5 of the WADA Prohibited List (in the category of Specified Substances).
