ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) denied media reports that Imran Khan has joined Peshawar Zalmi or any PSL team in any capacity.
“Imran Khan is extremely busy with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa work, Shauka Khanum Memorial Trust Peshawar launch, NAMAL and other PTI activities – hence he doesn’t have time to mentor PSL,” Faisal Aziz, PTI Additional Information Secretary, tweeted.

“News regarding Imran Khan mentoring PSL franchise Peshawar Zalmi or any other is not true,” he said.
Naeem ul Haque, Central Information Secretary and a PTI founding member, said that Imran Khan was not involved in any way with Peshawer cricket team participating in the PSL.
Earlier, media quoted Peshawar Zalmi owners saying that Imran Khan would act as mentor for the side in the league.
