LAHORE: Captain of Pakistan Twnety20 cricket team Shahid Afridi, bowling coach Mustaq Ahmed and Chief Selector Pakistan cricket team Haroon Rasheed jumped into emergency meeting at National Cricket Academy, Lahore to resolve Mohammad Amir’s issue.

Mohammad Amir’s inclusion in ongoing training camp at NCA became more controversial as Mohammad Hafeez followed by One Day International team’s captain Azhar Ali refused to attend training camp in presence of Mohammad Amir.

T20 captain Shahid Afridi, coach Mustaq Ahmed and chief selector Haroon ur Rasheed attended the emergency meeting to resolve this burning issue before New Zealand tour.

Earlier, Azhar Ali and premier batsman Mohammad Hafeez on Thursday has boycotted the training camp for New Zealand Tour.

 

Azhar Ali and Hafeez have the concerns with the inclusion of talented pacer Mohammad Amir in the camp.

Azhar Ali is the new addition in the controversy as earlier Mohammad Hafeez has openely announced not to play with Mohammad Amir.

The former captain said he could not ‘share a dressing room with a player who tarnished the image of Pakistan.’

Opening batsman added that“It is not about individuals or any personality clash. It is about the image of Pakistan cricket. I cannot play with any player who has tarnished and brought a bad name to the country,”

“This is my personal opinion and this is not just about Pakistani players, it’s about all players,” Mohammad Hafeez added.
