KARACHI: Pakistan Test captain Misbahul Haq has on Sunday said that it will be better if Pakistani players lead the Pakistan Super League (PSL) teams.  He said that he was disappointed over Pakistan-India series not taking place.

Talking to media in Karachi, Misbah said that new talent would have surfaced if India series had taken place. “Everyone was waiting for the bilateral series between India and Pakistan”, he said.

Misbah said that PSL teams should be captained by Pakistani players.

When asked about his differences with the management, Misbah said he didn’t want to answer the question.

He further added that he has been preparing himself for the England series and will try to stay fit for captaincy. He said PSL will help the young talent in Pakistan to shine and improve.
