BHOPAL: Indian married woman committed suicide after having a heated argument with her husband over Bollywood actor Aamir Khan’s recent comments on rising intolerance in India.

A 24-year-old woman  Sonam Pandey, a resident of Kotwali area in Jabalpur, consumed poison on Wednesday after the quarrel with her husband. She was the mother of a three-year-old daughter, Times of India reported on Friday.

Family members took Sonam, who was in a critical condition by then, to hospital around 11.35 pm. She died after a few hours. Doctors confirmed she died of poisoning.

Earlier, Bollywood star Aamir Khan finally decided to leave India for sometime to avoid Shiv Sena’s threats.
Aamir Khan’s comment about intolerance in India has led to a lot of protests outside the actors residence, due to which the security had to be tightened.

Aamir has recently begun shooting for Dangalagain in Ludhiana, where he has been provided with extra security. According to a report on Bollywoodlife.com, Aamir is set to head straight to the US, for a short span of time, after the Ludhiana schedule of Dangal is over.

Hindu extremist party Shiv Sena’s Punjab unit has announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh per slap for anyone slapping actor Aamir Khan over his recent remarks on “intolerance” in India.
