Pak vs Eng 2nd ODI: Early loses put Pakistan in trouble

ABU DHABI: Pakistan lost second wicket on 10 as last match’s star Mohammad Hafeez departed for 0, in second game of the four-match ODI series at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.

While chasing mammoth total of 283, Pakistan’s batting toppled in early overs of the innings, losing Babar Azam on 5 and then Hafeez on 10.

Earlier, courtesy to Alex Hales’ hundred, England put up a giant total of 283/5 on a dead pitch.

England’s Joe Root (63) and Jason Roy (54) were other prominent scores.

Left-arm quick Wahab RIaz ws once again pick of the bowlers from Pakistan, he grabbed 3 wickets for 43 runs.

Pakistan’s chase is under way with skipper Ahzar Ali (7) and Iftikhar Ahmed (0) on the pitch.
