India vs South Africa 1st Test Day 2 Highlights: India takes lead

MOHALI: After wrapping up Proteas innings on 184, India has played some aggressive cricket to extend its lead to maximum at the end of the day two play, posting 125/ on the board at Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, Mohali.

India were right top of the game when South Africa resumed their play from 46/2. Interestingly, all 10 wickets were lost at the hands of Indian spinners, with Ashwin taking five-for and Jadeja three for 55.

Pujara (63) and skipper Kohli (11) are on the crease.

Earlier, India were all out on 201 in the first innings where Elgar took four wickets for 22.

South Africa in reply could not resist to India’s spin cordon. Hashim Amla 43, and AB de Villiers 63 were top scorer from Proteas.
