KARACHI: The Rangers in wee hours of Thursday have arrested a suspected terrorist during routine snap checking in SIT area of the metropolis, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
According to details, one Rangers personnel also received bullet injury as the suspect opened fires while trying to flee.
The Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, in a statement, said that Rangers troops signalled a suspicious motorcycle to stop during routine snap checking near Labour Square, SITE area. The motorcyclists instead of stopping started firing at Rangers troops and tried to escape.
Resultantly, it added, one Rangers personnel sustained bullet injury. Rangers troops chased the fleeing terrorists and managed to arrest one suspect while the other managed to escape.
It said that the condition of the injured Rangers personnel is stable now.
