KARACHI: Anti Terrorism Court on Wednesday has declared 4 key men of Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) absconders during the hearing of China cutting case.
According to initial media reports, ATC heard the case of China cutting and declared 4 MQM workers absconders.
Those who are declared absconders included Mohammad Ahsan nick Chunnu Mamu, Shakir Langra, Saleem Qureshi and former head of MQM ‘Tanzeemi committee’ Hammad Siddiqui.
Earlier National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has arrested Farid Yousfani, a director of Lines Area Settlement Project.
Farid Yousfani, relative of Muttahiqa Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader, Anees Qaimkhani, is involved in land grabbing and china cutting in different areas of the city, including Gulshan e Iqbal and Gulistan e Johar, NAB sources said on Thursday.
NAB official said that Farid Yousfani was wanted in the China cutting case and several complaints regarding land grabbing were received against him.
