SHARJAH: Pakistani star all-rounder Shoaib Malik announced the retirement from Test cricket to prepare his-self for the mega event of International Cricket Council (ICC) cricket world cup 2019.
Malik said that he decided to retire from Test cricket to prepare his-self for ICC cricket world cup 2019 and he also said that he wants to give chance to youngsters.
He also posted message for his fans on micro-blogging website Twitter. “I have decided to retire from Test Cricket, will post my retirement blog soon. Please remember me in your Duas, love you all & thank you,” he tweeted.

Shoaib Malik has announced that the current Test match against England at Sharjah will be his last.
In a shock announcement at the close of the third day’s play, an emotional Malik said that the “time was right” to move on, only three matches after his five-year exile from the Test team had come to an end.
“We have some good youngsters and now is the time to retire,” he said. “Family comes first. I want to focus on the 2019 World Cup.”
