SHARJAH: Pakistan team lost two back to back wickets including settled batsman Azhar Ali after solid start in their 2nd innings of last test match of three match series against England at Sharjah cricket stadium, Sharjah.
Mohammad Hafeez and Azhar Ali showed solid hands to English bowling and put 101 runs together on score board but Azhar Ali lost his wicket after scoring 34 via run out.
Professor was the man on non striker end when Azhar Ali lost his wicket when failed to reach bowler’s end. Hafeez still on crease along with night watch man Rahat Ali.
Hafeez is just run short from his century. Day three was stumped and night watch man and Hafeez will continue the inning on Wednesday.
YK joined the Mohammad Hafeez as Shoaib Malik failed to produce strong punch and left the crease without scoring any run.
Younis Khan also lost his wicket after scoring 14 runs.
James Anderson took the wicket of Shoaib Malik. Pakistan has scored 146runs on the board with the lost of three wickets.
Earlier, Pakistan have just removed England on 306 courtesy to Shoaib Malik’s impressive bowling performance on the third day of the final Test match at Sharjah.
Visitors resumed their innings with 222-4 on the board but England soon got shocked with back to back wickets of two set batsman James Taylor and Johnny Bairstow.
Pakistan came up with early wickets in quick successions as Rahat Ali removed Taylor and then Zulfiqar Babar clean bowled Bairstow on 42 runs.
It was then Malik’ turn to contribute, he than removed England’s tail including Anderson on 7,Rashid on 8 and then Stokes on naught, taking 4 wickets for 33 runs.
