India welcomes Pakistan’s statement to act against Lashkar-e-Taiba

welcome

NEW DELHI: India has appreciated the joint statement of Pakistan and United States to encourage fight against militant groups including Lashkar-e-Taiba.

According to statement of Indian Foreign Affairs spokesman Vikas Swarup “This the first time that Lashkar-e-Taiba and the Haqqani Network have been specifically mentioned in a US-Pakistan joint statement.”

Vikas Swarup went on to say “We expect Pakistan and United States both stick to their commitments against terrorism.”

He cleared Indian stance that Kashmir issue is the bilateral issue and mediation on third party on this will not be accepted at any cost.

He also rejected the Pakistani stance that India is not interested in restoration of bilateral dialogue, sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan.
