Alester Cook remain unbeaten on third courtesy Fawad Alam’s miss filed. Skipper of English team got a chance on 147 runs on the ball of Zulfiqar Babar.
Bell also managed to score fifty with very low strike rate of 31. Cook and Bell put 165 runs on board together. Wahab Riaz took two wickets on third day.
After double tone of from Shoaib Malik and hundred by Asad Shafiq, flat pitch of Abu Dhabi stadium gave chance to English skipper to add one more century in his account.
After two days of silence, Cook put his team on front foot with a classic inning of 168 runs and he is still on crease to give tough time to Pakistan bowlers.
Pitches of Abu Dhabi stadium are considered as luxury of spin bowlers but so far no spinner from both sides failed to produce some strong punch.
Before day stumps, “Three Lions” managed to score 290 runs with the loss of three wickets.
