ABU DHABI: Pakistani batsmen Shoaib Malik and Asad Shafiq has broken the former 5th wicket partnership of 197 runs by Javed Barki and Naseem Ghani during the 1st Test match of 3 Test match series against England at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.
According to details, Shoaib Malik and Asad Shafiq started the day 2 of 1st Test steadily and broke the record of 5th wicket partnership of 197.
Also Shoaib Malik has completed his first double century in Test career and Asad Shafiq has scored a ton in the first innings of 1st Test match.
It is to be kept in mind that before this pair this record was in possession of former Pakistani pair Naseem Ghani and Javed Barki.
Shoaib Malik is on the crease with 215 runs and Asad Shafiq is un beaten on 101 runs and at the moment Pakistan are at 471 runs for the loss of 4 wickets.
