ISLAMABAD – Pakistani off-spinner Bilal Asif made a unique record in his second One Day International match of his career.
Bilal Asif became fourth spin bowler to took five wicket haul in a match without the help of any fielder. Young spinner bowled three Zimbabwean batsmen in second ODI match of three match series and sent back two batsmen via caught n bowled.
Asif who was reported for suspected bowling action, took five for just 25 runs in 10 overs. Before Bilal Asif, Muttiah Muralitharan entered his name in list of this unique record against Zimbabwe in 2008.
Earlier, International Cricket Council (ICC) ordered Bilal Asif to undergo bowling test for his suspected action within fourteen days from now.
According to latest developments in the case, ICC has issued a statement which directs Bilal Asif to undergo a bio mechanic test within fourteen days.
He will be allowed to bowl in international arena till then.
Earlier, match officials reported against his action after watching his videos at the end of the match.
PCB officials have also confirmed the reports.
