ISLAMABAD – Former Test cricketer slammed Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) over the issue of Bilal Asif’s illegal bowling action.

Ramiz Raja said that PCB should establish bio-metric lab in Pakistan. “This type of incident shake the confidence of young cricketer,” he said.

Wasim Akram also burst on PCB for establishing bio-metric lab. King of Swing told that bowling action can be check in bio-metric lab.

Legendary cricketer Mohammad Yousaf demanded to appoint Siqlain Mushtaq as bowling coach.

Former Pakistani cricketer Sikandar Bakht has stated that Bilal Asif’s action, despite being reported, cannot be banned from bowling.

While talking to a local TV channel, Sikandar said, in Bilala Asif’s case, ban is a far cry “because he looks clear to me.”

He said if there would be any unusual thing, it should likely to fall within ICC regulations.

Meanwhile, former Test captain Ramiz Raja said Pakistan should revive its bio mechanic labs as soon a possible to test its bowler’s actions before fileding them into international arena.

Earlier, Bilal Asif’s bowling action was reported by ICC match officials after third ODI against Zimbabwe, he took five wicket haul in the game and destroyed Zimbabwean batiing lineup.
