HARARE: Green shirts are all set to take on Zimbabwe in the first One-Day International (ODI) match of the three match series at the Harare Sports Club, Harare, Zimbabwe.
Pakistan will be coming into the ODI series at the back of a T20 series win, which they won 2-0 in the captaincy of Shahid Afridi.
However, with new captain, Azhar Ali and a few new players, the challenge will be different for them in the 50-over format.
Imad Wasim was the find in the T20 series. It will be interesting to see what approach they will adopt in the ODIs.
Expected XI (Pakistan): Azhar Ali (capt), Ahmed Shehzad, Mohammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik, Sarfraz Ahmed (wk), Sohaib Maqsood, Bilal Asif, Imad Wasim, Yasir Shah, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Irfan.
Expected XI (Zimbabwe): Chamu Chibhabha, Brian Chari, Craig Ervine, Hamilton Masakadza, Sean Williams, Sikandar Raza, Elton Chigumbura (capt), Richmond Mutumbami (wk), Tino Mutumbodzi, Graeme Cremer, Tinashe Panyangara.
Match will start at 12:30 Pakistan Standard Time (PST) and 9:30am local time of Zimbabwe.
