ISLAMABAD – Pakistani talented bowler Mohammad Amir revealed that he is focusing on domestic cricket instead of International cricket.
Mohammad Amir said that he is trying to gain form and pace while playing domestic cricket. “My focus is on domestic cricket at the moment and it would be premature for me to start thinking about when or if I will play for Pakistan again, Amir told PakPassion.net.
Amir also said that he is making himself for International cricket and he wants to ticket for national team on the basis of his performance.
Earlier, Former Pakistan fast-bowler Shoaib Akhtar on Tuesday showed his interest to buy a PSL franchise as well as expressed his desire to take youngster Mohammad Amir under his wing and guide him back to the national team following his return to cricket after a five-year ban.
The 23-year old Amir was suspended from International Cricket for five years when a spot-fixing scam was exposed by a tabloid sting during Pakistan’s tour of England in 2010.
