Amir, Asif, Salman are “extremely dangerous” for PSL: Ramiz Raja

LAHORE – Former Pakistani cricketer and ambassador of Pakistan Super League (PSL), Ramiz Raja  said that spot fixing-scandal-hit players are dangerous for reputation of PSL.

While giving an interview to Dawn News, Ramiz Raja said that Mohammad Amir, Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif will be dangerous for the reputation of PSL.

He said that all these players should not be the part of first season of Pakistan Super League. “I personally would never want them to be a part of the PSL as it is going to be extremely dangerous for the model of the event and image of Pakistan cricket,” the former captain said.

He also slammed Pakistan Cricket Board for training then in National Cricket Academy.

“They get special treatment at the NCA. They are provided with young players to train with, they get their clothes washed and have food at the academy. This is not acceptable,” he added.
