Wasim Akram asks Younis Khan to concentrate on Test cricket

ISLAMABAD – Former captain of Pakistan team Wasim Akram advised middle order batsman Younis Khan to concentrate on Test cricket.

Wasim Akram said that Younis Khan give his full time to Test cricket instead of One Day International cricket. He also said that team selectors should tell him about his future in limited-over game.

Earlier, Younis Khan said Wednesday that he does not have any retirement plans.

Talking to a gathering given in Shan Masood and his [Younis] honour, the legendary cricketer said he is enjoying cricket and does not want to retire now.

He went on to say that he would gladly accept captaincy offer, if he is offered one.

36-years right-handed batsman said breaking Javed Miandad’s record would be an honour for myself.
