American woman raped in India

NEW DELHI – American woman was raped in the the popular Himalayan hill station of Dharamshala in northern India, police officials told.

American tourist accused two men of raping her in Himalayan hill station in India. Police officials told that American women filed case against the two men for raping her.

American tourist told that she was attacked by two men when she was walking through crowded market of the town.

The 46-year-old woman had been travelling in India for a month.  “She says that after waking up she realized that she had been assaulted…and decided to approach us a day later,” Abhishek Dhullar, police superintendent of Kangra district which includes Dharamshala, said.

According to details, police officials are investigating the case and studying the CCTV footage. They are also waiting for medical examination of American women.

This is not the first case, five men were arrested in January over the alleged gang-rape of a Japanese tourist who was held as a sex slave for nearly a month in the country’s east.
