QUETTA: Security forces thwarted a planned attack by militants on a Defence Day, said spokesman of Inter-Services Public Relation (ISPR).
According to ISPR, security forces on Saturday morning raided and arrested one terrorist on intelligence reports.
The terrorist confessed links with Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) and during investigation told that he has been involved in two bomb blast earlier in Quetta.
Arrested terrorist revealed that he had plans to carry out time bomb blast across the city on Defence Day.
6 Kgs of explosive, mortar shells and nut bolts were recovered.
The security forces cordoned off the area and started a search operation.
