KARACHI: Attack on Wasim Akram

KARACHI: Former Captain of Pakistan Cricket team Wasim Akram has been attacked in the Karsaz area of Karachi on Wednesday, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

Wasim Akram is being  targeted by an unknown armed man who fired bullets on his vehicle while he was on his way for the fast bowlers training session.

According to details, unknown armed men opened fire on legendary bowler Wasim Akram’s car on Wednesday at Karsaz road area closed to National Stadium Karachi.

Wasim Akram confirms the incident while talking to the media persons and said that a car hit his vehicle and then people from other car opened fire.

Police arrived at site and started the preliminary investigation. While talking to media persons, Wasim Akram said that vehicle driver resorts to aerial firing. ” I have noted down registration number of vehicle,” he added.

Wasim Akram arrived in Bahadar Abad police station to register the First Information Report (FIR).
