LOWARI – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday during his visit to Chitral issued the deadline of completion of Lowari tunnel project.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said tha Rs 3 billion were allocated for Lowari tunnel project. PM instructed to complete Lowari tunnel project before December 2016.
He also told told that loans of ZTBL Chitral have been already waved off. PM also revealed that provincial government already declared Chitral calamity hit area.
He also ordered to assessment of damages caused by flood.
Earlier, Nawaz Sharif visited Chitral valley on Wednesday and became the first Prime Minister of Pakistan to visit Chitral in 16 years.
