Bangladeshi bowlers restrict South African to 162 runs

MIRPUR – Bangladeshi bowlers create trouble for strong African batting line up and restrict them to 162 runs in second One Day International (ODI) of the series. 

South African skipper after winning the toss opted to bat first. Batting first South African team all out after scoring 162 runs. Bangladeshi bowlers manged to restrict South African team to 162 runs.

Opener Hashim Amla scored 22 runs and left the crease. de kock also left the crease after scoring 2 runs and put South African team in difficult situation.

F du Plessis and F Behardien showed some resistance to Bangladeshi bowler. du Plessis scored 41 runs and Behardien contributed 36 runs in team total.

Six South Afrcan players failed to cross double figures.

Mustafizur Rahman and Nasir Hossain took three wickets each and put South African team in trouble. Rubel Hossain sent back three batsmen to pavilion.

Match was restricted to 46 overs/inning because of heavy rain interrupt the game several time during the match.
