UFA – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif paid thanks to Russian president Vladimir Putin for his role in giving full membership in Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, on Friday.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif met with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin and paid thanks to him for playing his role in providing full SCO membership.
Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan intends to enhance cooperation in defense, energy and infrastucture.
PM said that Pakistan wants to further promote ties with Russia.
Earlier, the Shanghai Cooperation Organisaiton granted full membership status to Pakistan and India during its summit held on Friday.
But before becoming a full member of Shanghai Cooperation Organisaiton, Pakistan will need to fulfill legal and statutory requirements.
