PALEKELLE – Pakistan team scored 215 runs in the first inning of third and the last Test match of the three match series on Sunday at Palekelle.
On the third of Test, Sarfraz Ahmed put only six more runs on the scored board. Sarfraz Ahmed played a goof knock of 78 runs and remain unbeaten but on the other Imran Khan lost his wicket in the start of morning session.
Azhar ali scored 52 runs while Younis Khan lost his wicket after scoring three runs. Five Pakistani batsmen failed to cross double figures.
Sri Lankan bowlers showed real class and discipline. Parsad, Pardeep and Kaushal took three wickets each.
In reply, Sri Lankan team lost couple of wickets in quick session but Lankan skipper snatched the game from Pakistani bowlers.
Tharanga scored 48 runs in second inning while Mathews put 77 runs on board and remain unbeaten on third day. Rahat Ali and Yasir Shah took two wickets each.
