No evidence of terrorism act found: Shuja Khanzada

GUJRANWALA – Punjab Home Minister Shuja Khanzada dismissed the terrorism act in Gujraanwala Special Train incident on Thutrsday. 

Home Minister Shuja Khanzada said that nine people passenger were died and seven bodied so far recovered from canal.

According to Inter Services Public Relation, 15 cranes, 15 boats and three Helicopters are carrying out the rescue operation.

Major General Asim Bhajwa in his tweet informed that 12 passengers were dead and five bodies were so far recovered in a rescue operation.

He tweeted that “Update:Initial investigation,Railway Bridge collapsed.shaheed confirmed 12 including Comd of unit,Lt.col Amir.8 bodies found.Rescue contnues.”

He also told that LT.COL Amir also embraced martyred in train incident.   Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar also expressed grief over the special train incident.   Earlier, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif, showed his concerns about Gujranwala Special Train incident on Thursday, Thenewstribe.com reported.  

Nawaz Sharif issued the instructions to relative departments to mobilize all resources to rescue passengers of Gujranwala train incident. He also gave instructions to provide best medical facilities to injured passengers.

Major General Asim Bhajwa said that 80 passengers were rescued from the canal. He also confirmed the incident and posted a message on social networking website. In his message he said that “4 bogies of special train carrying mil troops to Kharian fell over bridge near Jamke Chattha in Canal. Rescue underway.Casualties expected.”
