 Eid 2015: Pak Railway ready for historic operation

LAHORE: Pakistan Railways has announced to run 23 especial trains on Eid-ul-Fitr, which will serve as much as 30,000 passengers.

The historical decision was taken during a meeting presided by Minister of Railways Khwaja Saad Rafiq.

Saad Rafiq announced that anticipating over-crowded trains during the religious festival; Pakistan Railways has decided to begin especial train operation from 11th of July.

He went on to say that it will be the biggest operation in the history of Pakistan Railways.

Train Schedule:

11th July to 16: An especial train will run from Karachi to Lahore, one from Lahore to Karachi.

15th July: A train will run from Quetta to Rawalpindi and from Karachi to Peshawar

17th July: A train from Rawalpindi to Multan and from Peshawar to Lahore.

20th July: from Multan to Karachi,

20th to 22nd July: A train form Karachi to Lahore and one from Lahore to Karachi daily.
