Pakistan team never suffered from the shortage of fast bowlers. 1992 was the time when Pakistan team showed the world a real quality fast bowling when great Imran Khan, Wasim Akram and Aqib Javed thrashed the batting lineup of opponents teams.

Later on, Shoaib Akhtar shined on sky of world cricket and he is still considered as fastest bowler on earth.
Few years back, Pakistan cricket introduced the most talent pacers Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir but they fell in dirty game of spot fixing and ICC banned them. One of them, young fast bowler, Mohammad Amir is ready to make a come back in International cricket as his ban will end on September 2015.
If Pakistan qualifies for Champions Trophy 2017, Pakistan team will enter in the mega event with new ‘Deadly Trio’ including the tally Mohammad Irfan, Mohammad Amir and star of World Cup 2015, Wahab Riaz.
It is important to mention here that, Pakistan needs to beat Sri Lanka to get the ticket for ICC Champions Trophy 2017.
Pakistan team is on tour to Sri Lanka, where Pakistan team will play three test matches, five One Day Internationals (ODIs) and two Twenty20 matches.
This tour has gained more importance for Pakistan because it is the last chance for green shirts to make its space in International Cricket Council (ICC) Champions Trophy, 2017.
Pakistan team is facing the problem of qualifying for Champions Trophy because Bangladesh team grabbed two back to back victories against India and took seventh spot in ICC ODI team ranking with 2804 points.
Before this series, Bangladesh team have white washed Pakistan in ODI series, and it happened for the first time in the history of Pakistan cricket.
After this win Bangladesh team have qualified for ICC Champions trophy for the first time in the history of cricket.
