MOSCOW – Russian authorities has shown sell four Mi-35M ‘Hind E’ combat helicopters to Pakistan, and draft contract has been sent to Pakistan for the dispatch of combat helicopters on Thursday.
According to international media, following the interest shown by Raheel Sharif in Mi-35 M of Russia, a draft contract for the delivery of four said helicopters has been submitted by Moscow to Islamabad.
Pakistan-Russia talks are under way for the delivery of combat helicopters. According to the Russia’s state arm exporter Rosoboronexport, Pakistan is considering the draft.
Pakistan is currently using the American Mi-17 helicopters in the fight against militants in different operation. The new Mi-35M is a advanced version of Mi-24 helicopter with new equipment and powerful engine.
Army chief also visit the Russian arm exhibition. He inspects different weapon stall and expressed his interest in weapons, fighter jets and helicopters. He spent almost 15 hours at arm expo new Moscow during his three day tour to Russia.
