DOHA – Qatar Airways has been named as the world’s best airline at the annual Skytrax World Airline Awards.
This is for the third time in the last five years that the Qatar Airways has been named as the world’s best airline.
According to international media, the awards were based on the ranking done by 18.9 million passengers in 110 countries across the globe, who judge airline on everything including quality of food, comfort of seats and friendliness of their cabin crew.
Turkish Airlines was the only European Airline in the top 10. Further, AirAsia was voted best low-cost airline for the seventh year in a row.
Further, Oneworld was rated as the best airline alliance, and Emirates won for its entertainment system.
