Pakistani spin attack restricts Sri Lanka President’s XI to 241 runs

Colombo – Sri Lanka President’s XI scored 241 runs in their first inning of practice match against Pakistan at  Colts Cricket Club Ground, Colombo.

Host team put 241 runs on the board in response of 247 runs. JK Silva played a great knock of 101 runs and remain top scorer from his side. J Mubarak contributed 28 runs for his team.

Zulfiqar Babar showed the magic of his spin and sent back six host batsmen to the pavilion. Leg spinner Yasir Shah took two wickets.

Pakistan cricket team put 247 runs on board in the first inning of practice match against Sri Lanka President XI. 

During the first practice match of the tour, only Ahmed Shahzad and Younis Khan managed to score fifties. Middle order batsman Asad Shafiq scored 27 runs.

Ahmed Shehzad remain top scorer from Pakistan with 82 runs and Younis Khan scored the inning of 64 runs. TAM Siriwardana took two wickets from Lankan side.

Pakistan cricket team will play three tests, five ODIs and series of 2 T20 internationals during their 52 day stay in Sri Lanka.
