DUBAI: Cricket fans are rejoicing as they will be able to see their favourite players of the past in action once again in Dubai.
Some of the bigger name signed up for the project cricket legends Brian Lara, Jacques Kallis, Adam Gilchrist and Wasim Akram who recently celebrated his 49th birthday.
The news came up on the opening event which was also attended by former Australia and England captains Allan Border and Graham Gooch, both of who are MCL’s Governing Council members.
Reports are that this iconic tournament will be organised and played in the UAE for the next 10 years. Based on the T20 format, this will bring together some the greatest iconic names that the game has ever seen.
The exact schedule of the tournament is yet to be finalised while the matches will be played in Sharja, Dubai and Abu Bhabi. The tournament will have 6 team which will be from among 90 players.
